The Manatee Mermaid (2021)
A 15 page romantic story between a silent sailor who falls overboard during a storm and a Manatee Mermaid that rescues them.
The comic was made for Mermay 2021, a drawing challenge where you design and draw a mermaid during the month of May. Note I didn’t exactly set out to make a comic for Mermay; the thought ‘manatee mermaid’ crossed my mind, I doodled a design, blacked out and a week later found I had a whole comic nearly complete. Wish more comic ideas would come to me that easily.
